As part of a wide-ranging strategic reorganization aimed at providing greater clarity and visibility to each of the company’s production sites, Cantina di Soave has changed its name: it will now be called CADIS 1898.
“The outfit has changed, but not the spirit that has guided us for 125 years in the search for the best results for our 2,000 associate members and for all those customers who have been purchasing our bottles for years,” explains General Manager Wolfgang Raifer.
CADIS 1898 is the acronym that takes the initials of the historic name, accompanied by the year of the group’s foundation: a combination that represents a balance between modernity and tradition. A new logo and website (www.cadis1898.it) have been created to communicate these changes to the outside world.
Under the name CADIS 1898, the four main wineries will be represented: Cantina di Soave, Cantina di Montecchia, Cantina di Illasi, and Terre al Lago. The market will now feature Soave wines branded Cantina di Soave, Valpolicella wines from Cantina di Illasi, Lessini Durello from Cantina di Montecchia di Crosara, and Bardolino and Custoza from Terre al Lago. “The goal is to give a precise identity to each of our labels and the territory where they originate, while at the same time continuing with our mission: to highlight the Scaligera Denominations and their territories,” concludes Raifer.
