Nottefonda is born in the valleys east of Verona, from typical local grape varieties harvested entirely by hand after a short period of drying. The clusters are gently pressed, and the must then undergoes fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by ageing in wooden barrels.
A blend of fine grape varieties grown on the Veronese hills (Corvina, Pinot Noir, Merlot).
Over-ripening on the vine for 10–15 days, followed by light drying on racks. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and undergoes a brief maturation in wood, with timing and duration determined by the winemaker according to each vintage.
Enticing fruity notes of black cherry and wild berries, complemented by clear hints of black pepper, licorice, cocoa, and tobacco.
Soft and warm on the palate, enveloping with a velvety texture. Full-bodied and well-balanced, with pleasant notes of blueberry and blackcurrant jam on the finish. Alcohol
